"I will be dressing-up on screen from now on," laughs Neha Dhupia. "And it's a conscious decision, because what's the point of being an actor if you can't wake up every morning to play a different role?"
So is it goodbye to the skin flicks like Julie that she did in the beginning? "They were a different genre. I am a versatile actor and want to do all kinds of roles," is her stand.
And can skin show sustain an actor's career in the long run? "I don't know why all my interviews centre around this. But I want to go beyond getting wild on screen.
This doesn't mean I will not be sexy and glamourous in my forthcoming films but you will not get to see skin," she asserts.
Neha doesn't mind playing second fiddle in her movies, as she will be, in the upcoming Chup Chup Ke with Kareena Kapoor.
"I have no hang-ups being called the second lead," she says. And ask her about Kumar Sanu's film Utthan where she is playing Jessica Lall and she clams up.
"I would rather leave this film out of the interview." All she is ready to say is that she is "a part of the movie."
